A whimsical pendant/ keychain by Cartier. Designed by Aldo Cipullo in 1975 (who also is responsible for the famous Cartier Love bracelet), the noose motif became another of Cipullo’s iconic themes. The 18k 2 1/4 x 1″ yellow gold pendant/key holder in the shape of an open rope with a slipknot, sports a hinged mechanism to add keys, another pendant or even a few talismans. An unusual and macabre commentary for whatever ails you. Versatile and interesting.Signed Cartier and numbered, with additional export patent and makers marks. 70’s Unisex
